"Just stayed room only and whilst there was no kettle or coffee facilities they are available if asked for. The room was nice, clean and had air-conditioning which was essential when we were there. Nice and quiet and the outside bar and seating area is a nice addition since I stayed here last time. Location is excellent too."

"Without doubt, one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was impeccably clean, very roomy, relaxing, and a lovely ambience, due to the subtle fresh tones and colours used The staff are all fantastic, very helpful, and always welcome you with a smile. A special mention and thanks to Shania, she was amazing. Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. Every morning the freshest and best local produce, the best breads, cereals, fruits, cheeses, meats, fish, eggs and juices. Parking is available on the lower ground floor of the hotel, you would need to book this in advance, it has a car elevator that lowers you to the parking garage level, and there are good number of spaces. There is a gym available for use, also a sauna and steam room, plenty of towels and loungers available to rest and relax in the spa area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so unforgettable:-)"

"Very impressive hotel. Plenty of available parking and on arriving the staff at reception were helpful, friendly and ensured our check in was quick and easy. Lovely bar and restaurant where we ate as it was extremely well presented/decorated/furnished. My room was large and well appointed and like the rest of the hotel nicely furnished /decorated and it makes a pleasant change to a lot of hotel rooms to have both a large shower and large bath. Both our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel especially useful for our trip as we were returning from Germany and need a stop over before travelling home from Calais as only a short journey to Le Shuttle/Calais."

"We really liked the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was air conditioned during a very hot spell. The pool was a bit small and the water seemed overly green but this was more than made up by the staff who were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay."

"Good location with a parking lot underneath. AC in the room. We had a 2 story room. Upstairs bathroom was dirty. Breakfast at 26 euros is too expensive. Staff was very nice."
Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof Ghent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pillows. It has elegance without being 'stuffy' and is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our rooms had balconies to relax overlooking the courtyard with gardens and seating for food and drink. We found the beds and pillows really comfortable and appreciated the amenities provided (robes and slippers, toiletries and coffee pod machine). The hotel has several restaurants of different ambiance, one offering a buffet breakfast with a good range of hot and cold food. For us, the location was ideal, with all of the historic sites and eateries within a short walk, yet away from the crowds and noise along the canal in the centre of the old city. The hotel can be reached by trams and buses from the station. Ghent is a beautiful city for a short break. It is also less than an hour by train to Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels, the coast at Ostend and Ypres is just over an hour. We would definitely stay at the Pillows again as a base to visit any of the sights in Flanders."

"Truly excellent breakfast spread in a charming room, functional gym including free weights and some cardio machines works well considering the small space, comfortable mattress. Small pillows but doubled up and that worked. Friendly staff, great location, loved the blend of modern amenities and old world charm. Bath does not have a shower hold so you have to direct it yourself if you want a shower. Might have just been our room that was like it."
