"We got to the property before check in and they were happy to hold our bags in a secure place and we were able to use the swimming pool and pool area. When checkin was available, it was done quickly and with friendly people. The room was very nice, but was hard to get cool enough. The breakfast was very good and although it was busy, it was clean and there was a wide selection of food. We will definitely be back!"

"I booked a room here as they have a shuttle service from LAX and I have stayed here in the past. After an 11 hour flight from London I waited over an hour and 15 minutes for the shuttle and every time I called the hotel it was busy. I ended up taking a taxi at an additional £35 and when I got to the hotel, they said they were having issues with the phones. They apologised for not collecting me and when I went to take a shower, there was no hot water. Plus a few other issues"

"This is a little gem - tucked in amongst multi-million dollar homes, quaint shops and restaurants, steps from a quieter part of the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The standard room oozed of charm and the hum of people and cars on the street with the salty breeze wafting in from the balcony was the perfect accent to my long weekend. I even dipped my toes in the clean delightful pool. You simply cannot find anything else like this. This is a well-maintained and clean, adorable motel environment. With real keys! But, if you can’t take a few minor unpolished finishes, or soft water pressure, this isn’t the place for you. Also, be prepared for stairs!"
