The best thing about this hotel was that it kept us out of the rain. The second good thing was that our room had ceramic tile flooring, instead of the usual nasty old motel carpet. Thirdly, the large refrigerator in the room worked well and was clean. The air conditioner worked well and did not have the mildewy smell that a lot of older hotels have. Here are my complaints: There was one towel for two people. No wash cloths, no bathroom mat. When my husband went to get a second towel, it was not given with good grace, so to speak. And no holder for toilet paper, but at least we had toilet paper. Then there was the closet - nice open space, no bar, rack or anything from which to hang clothes. Third, and most outrageous to me: the pillows were old, lumpy, smelly. Luckily, I had a beach towel in the car to roll up for a pillow. For a few bucks at Walmart, the owner could have made this a motel we would have come back to, because it was a reasonable distance from the beach, and the landscaping was lovely. And we got a good deal on the room rate.
