"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...
"Absolutely beautiful property! We stayed for one night and enjoyed a lovely meal at the onsite restaurant, the extremely comfortable room and bed, and the generous breakfast cooked to order the following morning. I highly recommend this property."
"I loved this pub and the rooms. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the location is unreal and the food amazing. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back. "
"I actually really enjoyed my stay at the Pack Horse. The staff at reception were really friendly & helpful. It was peaceful & private & clean & comfortable, although basic, reflecting the modest price.
But it wasn’t the room we were shown online when we booked & no food was available - as stated on the website. "
"A good stay as aways. This time we used the cafe, delightful. This would have been excellent stay if my husband had been able to switch the bedside lamp on.."

"The room was nice, and the hospitality was excellent from the landlady. Breakfast was a really welcome treat, and I was happy that it was included in the good value price I paid. Thanks "

Although situated behind a pub it was very quiet.
