"We arrived late but were looked after at reception by the check in staff. Our room overlooked the floating harbour. It was spacious and very comfortable. It was very good value for money. Our only criticism was that we did not know that parking had to be booked in advance. That didn’t adversely affect our plans."

"The location is ideal – right in the city centre. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has its own large paid parking for £17 per day. The rooms are a bit dated. Outside, it was extremely hot during our trip. The room's built-in air conditioning, despite being set to the lowest possible setting (+18°C), was blowing hot air. The windows wouldn't open, making it impossible to sleep."

"Room clean and well designed. More space than we expected for the price. Great to have cold water available by lifts on each floor, but ice cubes meant a trip to the bar. Bar staff friendly and helpful, some of the counter staff a little less so. Great to have air-conditioning. Didn't know there was disabled parking available just steps from reception, until we got there. And when we went to use it, found that it was labelled as drop off area/staff parking. Checked at reception and apparently I was okay to park there, but some disabled guests would have driven off and parked further away, unnecessarily. Hotel isn't in the city centre, but with free parking we saved more than we spent on Ubers. Good value for money."

"Room was lovely although not the most comfortable of beds and really did not like the pillows but others may be happy with it. No plug near mirror so had to dry hair 'blind' which is a bit of a pain. Where the plugs are situated is no mirror although there is space for one. The breakfast was very good although the pastries were a bit stale but good cooked breakfast. Parking was safe and convenient £17 a day. Hotel is nicely situated close to great shopping area and 12min walk to train station."
