Although a tad noisy as windows didn’t fully close the room was adequate for my needs and close to everything., helpful on checkout storing suitcase and use of lounge till my pickup arrived staff helpful and polite

Reasonable accommodation, no negatives other than the particular room we stayed on was a little worn. Nice staff, good location and pretty quiet. Basic pool, but still nice for a swim.

Found it easy to check in which was great. Unfortunately the apartment we stayed in seemed very old. Sofa was old and uncomfortable. Kitchen needs updating. Coffee table was tiny. Bed was a little bit too hard. Apartment didn't feel very inviting.

The room was rough around the edges, but what did it for us was the bugs. We checked out after the first night and were told we would be able to get a refund from Expedia. When I got home I contacted Expedia, they attempted to contact the Mgr for approval to refund per their policy but the property would not respond. I did finally get a refund from Expedia, but it took 2 weeks. Don't stay here.

Very poor value. Every aspect of this hotel is in disrepair. Aircon either don’t work or are missing batteries etc. it’s tired, smells and hot & stuffy. I would not recommend to anyone

The hotel room looks good, with a washer in the toilet we really appreciate. Cookware is available, but a bit limited (we were three and we had only two dishes to use). Reception staff has a very limited time, sometimes not really helpful. Swimming pool is nice, but the social area is poor (a big empty room). There is a free bus from n. 30 from downtown easy and available till dinner time. I suggest the property to improve the maintenance.

The unit we stayed in was so lovely, clean and modern with an amazing layout. I love the sunken lounge and the view from the 9th floor was beautiful and expansive! Have two rooms was definitely the way to go. I think I would stay there again sometime for sure!

Room was very run down paint peeling off walls and ceiling. There was mould in the bathroom and all prices of furniture were old and broken/scratched to some extent. The carpet was old and very stained including the curtains which looked like they had never been cleaned. There was also marks on most walls. The towels all gave off lint and made it difficult to get dry, the shower and shower screen leaked leaving water all over the bathroom floor after every shower. Overall was not a pleasant stay, at least the bed sheets had no marks or stains.

The Ridge is great - it's clean, the shower although older style, is amazing with such good pressure. The bed was comfy, great firmer pillows (what a relief)!

As someone who was apprehensive given the negativity of some of the previous guests’ reviews, I was really impressed with The Ridge. I’m a bit of a germaphobe and can honestly say that our room was spotless and felt super clean. Yes, the decor is a little dated and 00s esque but for $100ish a night my partner and I were very happy.

The Ridge was great value considering we had a full kitchen, so helpful for saving money in the city. A few things needed a little attention - the lifts were quite random (it took us a while to work out how to get to level 1 for the gym) and we couldn’t actually find the stairs from reception (although we didn’t look very hard). Pool was great. We also got a great city view from the room.

The unit that we stayed is in terrible disrepair, neglected by its owners that in some cases its dangerous, we didn't. mention anything to the management because we were on business and out all day and only came in to sleep..., the bed and linen was good..., this unit will not pass the new Queensland tenancy laws.

Staff are pleasant . Fittings are a bit tired . Can be a bit noisy at night , I had trouble sleeping through . But for the price I felt it was good value . Only a short walk into the centre of town .
