"asked if I could use the toaster with my own bread as their breakfast service wasn’t open and I had a big event on that morning and it was too much of a big deal so they said no. The guy at the front desk was pretty rude Other than that ok "

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find the staff friendly and helpful but not this time unfortunately. I wonder whether because we book on Expedia we get a non upgraded room. It was also very noisy at the pool area with the building going on next door. "

"Roon was clean but building a little old. The location was okay, good restaurants around with a good uphill 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast buffee menu was good variety and special like on the expresso machine but need extra charge if you want omlette eggs which is not part of the buffee menu. Parking was extra charge on the side if you are doing car rental."

"What a great location for walking to the Botanical Gardens and along the Brisbane River Waterfront; Also to walk both the new iconic bridge & The Story bridge within an hour, is an interesting and very scenic walk, cheers for that!"
