It is in a good location and has pool, gym etc. But very poor cleanliness, no dishwasher and terribly dirty n incomplete dinnerware, cookware, prepware. Didnt even give me the tv remote until end of the 2nd week!! Grossly overpriced for what you get inside the apartment. When you speak to reception about any issues, they never apologise.

I believe we solved all your requests and we are confident with the cleanness. -I believe we are easy to reach at all times during office hours, and easy to communicate and happy to do our best to solve your questions, for example the Mailbox key, which we never provide to short stay guests according to policy. But considering you are waiting for important mail, we provided. -We believe cleanness is the priority for hotel, and for every time you requested an extra cleaning, our staff will be presented, and clean the room as you requested. -And we do our best to solve any unexpected problem, like the TV remote you mentioned, it was unexpected stole by the previous guest, we did provided you a new one to match the TV and it took 2 days as we have to search online for matching remote. -And we also provided all you requested extra things. Some of the furniture in the apartments are simple and old, we know the rooms are not fancy, but we are always focus on cleaning, everything you can reach is clean and hygiene. Thanks for your suggestion, we apologies for the missing TV remote, but not apologies for the other things, as it is already very cleaned and well communicated.

The property was in a great location, only a couple of blocks away from all the restaurants and pubs. All the room are difficult, probably private owned so all abiy different. Our apartment number 31 was great,well equipped, clean, big tv and the kitchen had everything we needed ( except milk) Our friends room was less attractive woth not very nice furniture and a tiny telly. The communication was great and i found them to be very accommodating to our needs. Will be happy to stay again.

Aussie Weekend Fun!
Perfect area for activities and food, beds were not very comfortable, but everything else is good. The kids loved the pool!!!

Good location, was disappointed that the blinds in the loungeroom leading to the verandah we broken so once you put them down you couldn't put them back up, minimal cutlery and kitchen supplies and there was a blind missing in the main bedroom so my elderly mother was woken up at sunrise.

We had booked for 5 and on arrival there was no extra linen, towels, pillows for the fold out longe! The room smelt of dampness and mould. Stay in Brisbane a lot with family and friends and would not recommend for future visits!!

Absolutely terrible
Terrible reception staff. Rooms dirty. No blind in bedroom. Told by receptionist if I wasn’t happy then to just go elsewhere. No apologies, no alternative just if you don’t like it go somewhere else!!!! Totally shocking.

Basic accommodation - reasonable price. Only sheet blinds at windows so woke up at the crack of dawn with the daylight! Very small, but comfortable double bed . No milk available for T or coffee - limited amount supplied.

Location to the Convention Centre was good. Here are some of the things I did not like. I was not able to connect to the Internet, I followed instruction on the wall and in the Information booklet, no luck. As the desk is only occupied between 10am and 5pm, I could not get help. No hairdryer, No milk to go with the instant coffee or tea. Coffee and tea did not get refilled. Iron was old and dirty, and the dirty water splashed on to my garment. Ironing board was cheap, and I had to use a towel to give it some padding. No tea towel to dry the dishes. While the place was not dirty, it was a bit run down. Had to keep the blinds closed, as the next-door building and its windows were VERY close. Felt closed in. I would not stay there again

This was a comfortable stay with 2 bedrooms both with ensuites. Easy check in and checkout. Perfect location with an easy walk to shops and restaurants.

The apartment I stayed in obviously needed some maintenance. The blind in the bedroom didn’t close. There were marks on the walls. The shower had a very small shower head and not a lot of pressure. The location is nice and quiet. However for the price I wouldn’t stay here again

unit had no outdoor setting, the entire unit was dirty. wine glasses had lipstick all over them and cracked. bathroom wasnt cleaned. carpet was disgusting and stained. walls were dirty and not wiped down clean. completely disappointed being a family room im glad my children were not with me as the state of the room was so dirty.

Receptionist extremely efficient & helpful. Location was extremely good as it gave us great access to South Bank cafes & restaurant & the art gallery. Public transport accessible and car parking available. Disappointed in the condition of the apartment walls and fittings - badly in need of upgrade. Mattress on the bed very uncomfortable.

Not advertised as such but this is basically a student housing/ full time residence. Had to wait for someone that lived there to let me in building to check in. Fridge broke in my room on first night there and leaked water everywhere. Call after hours emergency number to come fix and end result was to turn fridge off and leave me with no fridge. Crockery in cupboards were broken. Carpet was filthy and had to keep shoes on. Room I had faced student accommodation place next door. When I opened door I was looking directly into at least 20 bedrooms. Felt very uncomfortable as a number of people ‘stared’ back. Left door shut for remainder of stay. It is one of the cheapest accommodations on Southbank but it doesn’t need to be one of the dirtiest.

Well located spacious apartment. We had a ground floor with a huge outdoor area. The apartment was fairly run down and could have benefited from a more decent clean. There were a couple of teabags but no coffee or sugar. Not sure whether these are supposed to be included or not. One of the showers did not drain properly and started flooding the bathroom so had to use other bathroom only. Beds are super comfy and had lovely clean linen. Room for improvement but we would stay here again as it’s well laid out and top location. Check in staff member was courteous and explained the layouts well.

Great value for a 2 bed appartment in the city. But almost all the furniture was broken or worn out. Mattresses were ok but the beds were broken and wobbly. Same as dinning table and lounge

Parking was hard to get to. The apartment did not have any inside dining area. The only table and chairs were on the balcony, but it was raining and cold so could not eat out there. There was no frying pan in the kitchen. No dishwashing liquid was supplied, only dishwashing tablets but no dishwasher! Only enough coffee, tea etc for 1 day supplied. Staff are only at reception for a few hours some days.

It is really hard to get onto the Manager, we had issues with our air conditioner system and the dishwasher and we were unable to contact the Manager as the mobile provided goes to message bank and then says ‘mailbox full’ so you can’t leave a message, The room was very average with stains on the carpet and pull down blinds, the sponge in the kitchen was mouldy, the dishwasher didn’t work. There was no outdoor furniture and there was no DVD player, iron or ironing board as noted in the Wotif advert.

Unfortunately our room was robbed during our stay. At the time of the incident the emergency number wasn't answered by the Allegro on call staff. Manager didn't contact us until Monday following the robbery on Saturday evening. As there wasn't forced entry to the room we are concerned as to how the building and room were entered. Reported faulty bathroom light at 12 noon Saturday 1 June. Advised that it wouldn't be attended to until Monday 3rd June.

Filthy apartment. You can do better!
Do not believe the photos. Our unit #22 was nothing like the images on the website. There was no decorations no homey touches. It was DISCUSTING! The carpets are so filthy that we were reluctant to walk barefoot. The walls are filthy. The toilet wall has unmentionable stuff on it. The cutlery and crockery were put away dirty. The mugs still had hot chocolate marks on them and the plates had greasy red stuff (smelt like curry). The wooden spoons were mouldy. The towel rail was hanging broken off the wall. The shower was not cleaned from the previous guests and had gunk on the tile. I believe this is unacceptable and very deceptive when compared to the photos. The apartment could be lovely as it has a large undercover verandah however the cleanliness and nice touchers are not there and the owners do not seem to care. I stay in Brisbane 6 weeks a year and this is by far the worst place I have stayed in.
