"This is a very old and tired hotel that happens to have a great location that you pay dearly for. We chose to eat from the buffet, which was below average. The hot food was cold. The quality of the food was just not there the service in the dining room was slow and was disappointing. During the weekend there were lots of young families unfortunately, their kids were running up and down the hallways and no one did anything about it. They are building a new five star hotel next to this one that should be available in 2028."

"The rooms were very good and a wonderful view from the deck of a field. Staff answered questions. They offered bagged breakfast and lunches- you need to ask beforehand. Just a beautiful hotel and restaurant was great as well."

"The staff was so kind and welcoming and the location was incredible! Not only were we next to a great restaurant and close to a market, but we could walk into Entrance 2 at Plitvice rather than worry about parking there. The breakfast was delicious and more than we could have hoped for - my kid LOVED the freshly cooked eggs so much! Would 100% recommend staying here!"

"A beautiful property and room! The staff is amazing. Very helpful with our plan to visit the park and waterfalls in a limited amount of time. The food is delicious and we felt very much at home! Natalie and May were so welcoming! We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family."

"The location from the National Park Entrance 1 and 2 was about a 30 minute drive but is very close to entrance 3. Entrance 3 has, I believe, no parking charge. We had no problem with locating the residence (B&B) on GPS and the owner was there immediately when we arrived and let us into the room. Breakfast and dinner is served in a separate building next door. The TV had very limited English speaking channels but that is normal for the country. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order. The buffet selection was fine including croissants (delish), and a selection of hams and salami and homemade cheeses. We also had dinner there. My wife had the whole broiled trout and was excellent. I ordered the pork on skewer and was a little too well done for my taste but that's just me. The reason for losing a star is the room was not made up the second day. Not sure if we should have asked for this service in advance. That being said, I would definitely recommend this B&B."
