"The mobile homes are modern but it's very small, the hot water runs out very fast, the staff depending on how lucky you get doesn't speak English at all so it's hard to get any tips about the area, but honestly, the most frustrating thing to me was that we paid about a significant price per night equal to a 4 star hotel but what is provided is closer to a 3 star hotel and we were still requested to pay 5 euros for an additional towel to take to the pool. "Rustic Lodge Plitvice exceeded my expectations & I was beyond pleased! To be honest, I was a bit worried & kept contemplating whether or not to stay here (I’m a bit of a clean freak and can have high standards lol), but boy oh boy was I wrong! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hot water and shower pressure were excellent. The pictures online do NOT do this place justice - it is much better in person. It is a family owned & run business and you can tell by the excellent service (thank you Micki). It is also in very close proximity to the national Park, maybe a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this lodge to others while visiting Plitvice & would stay again in a heartbeat. "
