A small boutique hotel set in exotic mature gardens. Most rooms are in the garden and have covered terraces that lead to a rock pool which is great for swimming - I managed one length under water to be greeted by a monkey when I surfaced ! They have a young chef who trained in New York, so the standard of presentation and cuisine is excellent. There is a strong artistic and interior design lead influence which will appeal to like minded people.

I did not use WiFi but others did and seemed to be happy with it. Amenities only ok because, yes it had a pool but no umbrellas for use during the hottest September for years. Free use of computer. Reception phoned for taxis at no charge for calls. I would come back as soon as possible. Great staff, great menu, great location, great beach 2 minutes away, (look for the racehorses taken for their early morning swim each day). Small hotel but other guests very friendly, lovely. Great atmosphere....

Most amazing place: calm/relaxing with stunning views (especially at sunset) plus beautiful beach/pools & friendly staff. Woke up daily to see race horses in bay (5 mins later next to them). Many days saw monkeys, close up, eating mangoes just on roadside to Hilton; plenty of turtles in sea by Barbados Blue (free rentals of SUPs for Hilton guests). Free WiFi (if join Hilton Honors prior, free). Free rum punch on arrival. Comfy bed, spacious/clean room. Great bathroom. No mosquitoes. Friendlies...

This is a lovely little gem of a hotel. Perfectly placed for the beautiful Miami Beach opposite, down a quiet little side road but close enough to stroll into Oistins. Very handy for the Friday Fish Fry (but the little stalls sell delicious fish dishes all week). Our room was large with a huge four poster, settee, table, chairs, coffee machine, kettle and a selection of tea and coffee. A big bathroom with lovely toiletries and an outside private patio with settee, table and sun loungers....

Coral Reef offers a uniquely beautiful garden setting with a sea and beach border. To glance in any direction in any of those settings, is to see beauty. The elegant and welcoming main building and scattered cottages and garden rooms sit comfortably and gloriously within the garden and beach areas. All ones needs are absorbed by the attention of a myriad of gentle, characterful and super efficient staff and underpinned by the ever present attention of the family owners. Paradise on earth.

Our room was really lovely, with a great balcony looking over the polls to the sea. The bed was really comfy, though as is often the case overloaded with pillows/cushions, and the shower was excellent. There was a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 hobs, plus plenty of crockery etc. There was a kettle and a filter coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee. Whilst this hotel is about an hours drive from the airport, Bridgetown and the tourist nightlife, it more than makes up for it with it's quiet, peaceful location and the friendliness and quality of it's staff. If you want to visit different locations around the island you will need to hire a car (for an adventure, try the bus services - quite an experience - but try to avoid school in & out times unless you want to experience being a sardine). Lovely hotel, well located and well maintained

Family of 5 really enjoyed our stay, although we were only bed and breakfast and to be honest, the hotel restaurant and those in the town were really expensive! A round of 5 soft drinks was £25 and our evening meal in the hotel was £200 + with mostly tap water ( 2 kids meals) There are some cheaper restaurants in the town ,Just Grillin, Surfside Bar but nowhere open for Sunday lunch! Wonderfully relaxing holiday perfect for de-stressing. All rooms benefit from ocean views with every little detail taken into consideration. Wonderful island genuinely kind caring hospitable people.

Had an excellent stay: amazing staff (special mention to Janice on reception , the ladies on the pool bar a d thee breakfast team). The suites are veey large, extremely well fitted with every thing you need and more. It's a very well run place in a great location also with beach, shops, bar and restaurants all on the doorstep Higly recommended

Outstanding hotel, full of history, perched above the ocean on the beautiful east coast. Everything is immaculate. Rooms are brilliant and food is excellent. Lovely coastal walk to charming Bathsheba.

Myself and my wife went to the Coral Mist Beach Hotel because IT was self catering and it had its own beach and we were NOT disappoint at all. Yes it was not modern and needs a revamped BUT everything else was spot on. Every day we sunbathed on the beautiful beach over looking the stunning Carribean sea and every night we watched baby turtles come out of the sand and we helped them to the sea and even watched a mother laying her 100+ eggs!! Arrived late on 15/1/16 for 14 day stay after a mix up over transfer no show and hitched a ride in an old bus an hour later feeling ragged but nice welcome. Good room spacious super balcony and comfy bed. Bathroom dated and disaster non detachable shower head for hair washing which is a must when in and out of the sea and not wanting full drenching. New tv but usual rubbish international channels but with books, i pads, scrabble to prevent brain drain who cares. Lovely gardens well...

Visited the hotel in 2007 and 2008 and amazed that Reggie still remembered us after all that time when we returned in August this year! Hotel was quiet (but so was the whole area including the Gap) and the one bedroom apartment was good although could do with a lick of paint. The hotel is on the beach, which never had more than a dozen people on it ,and sunbeds, towels, umbrellas were easy - no getting up at dawn to reserve.
