"The location is excellent and well place for visiting the Citte Alta.
Because we were only there for 1 night, I chose a standard room. The furnishings were very good apart from the carpet which was faded and the antiquated hairdryer! This didn’t spoil anything though.
The public areas were beautifully maintained and the staff very helpful.
I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again."
"Fabulous hotel, however breakfast was huge let down, served 6-10 am but at 8 o’clock half of the things was gone and nobody seems to care about restocking. Even lady on floor after asking for some bread (there was none left) brought only couple of tiny rolls."
"This hotel had an excellent location lakeside and within the walled area of the castle. There is a thermal swimming pool in an adjacent building which was very good. Our room was large but the bathroom was very small for example the bidet was so close to the wall that it could not be easily mounted. The TV was also very small so difficult to watch the world cup. There were no coffee making facilities or complimentary water in this 4 star hotel. Staff in the restaurant seemed rushed and the waiter serving our table at a special dinner night was poor. Overall, the Hotel seems a little dated but it has some nice spacious areas for dining and difficult to beat for location."
"We were enchanted by Casa Scaligeri and Sirimione. The hotel was supremely located, the staff were beyond friendly and helpful, the room was well-appointed, and breakfast was very plentiful. What more could you ask for? So hope to return"
"Just arrived home from the most amazing trip away to Hotel Meandro. Everything from the arrival, to staff, the room and food was perfect and of course the wonderful view from the room and the Sky Terrace was breathtaking. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We arrived late in the evening after some delays and they made sure we had easy instructions for a self check in. Breakfast was a real highlight of the trip - lovely food and the most attentive and friendly staff who our baby looked forward to seeing every morning. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit nearby villages and there is a lovely little beach about 200m downhill which offers swimming, water sports and a couple of beach bars/restaurants. Hands down the best trip we have ever been on. It’s worth booking a car parking space if you have hired a car as parking can be slightly tight around the hotel itself. Tignale is a lovely spot to visit with beautiful panoramic views over the lake and mountains and a handful of cute restaurants and ice cream parlours which are really reasonably priced. We were so grateful for the complimentary bottled water on arrival and departure as nipping to a shop with an 8 month old wasn’t always the easiest thing in the heat. The indoor swimming pool was such a great additional facility with a little garden by the side for lounging around. The only reason for the 4 stars on facilities was due to our aircon being a little ropey - it worked okay but think it was due a service."
