"This historic hotel has been beautifully updated - the rooms are stunning for such an old property. I also loved the restaurant in the hotel, and you're surrounded by the island's tallest mountains. A historic bridge is right across the street. It's also super cool that they have their own museum room with loads of history about the town and property. My only qualm was that service could be friendlier and the lobby smelled of strong cigarette smoke. "

"The hotel was great. Good, clean, comfortable rooms. We arrived 30 minutes early but it was no bother to them. They checked us in with a smile. The view from our room was amazing! Dinner was excellent with a varied menu. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the hotel to anyone. "
