"Staff were great on reception however the room was beyond warm with minimal air flow from the air conditioning. Overall was clean but areas around the bathroom and air vents were dirty. Modern TV with streaming capabilities and iron in the room were a good addition."

"I was given a free breakfast because there had been a bit of an issue with the room heater when I stayed last Friday. Then I stayed again on Sunday night and the staff provided me with a breakfast even though I was late and arrived after the cut off time. Full marks to the staff of the Sandy Ford."

"Great hotel just a five minute walk to and from the airport. Not much around aside from the airport, but the room was nice for an overnight wait for the flight. Very nice room and friendly staff! "

"Ok I really did like the hotel except for one thing and honestly it’s a big thing for me. The rooms are dark they have that ambient light of desk lamps and little low power bulbs. I hate it I cannot put my make up on yes there’s a mirror at the sink with a light but when the rest of the room is dark big deal it’s just not enough, like imagine going on a night out and having that. If you lose something you’re like where is it I will need to get my phone torch out. Can you not get a big light for the room so I can see very clearly all my belongings. I know some hotels like like but it’s annoying. I need to see please please stick a big light in there and it would be perfect. You can switch off a light what can you do if there is no light. It’s like a cave. "
