"People nice, breakfast good. Elevator broken during our entire stay Sat-Wed. Bed comfy. Bathroom configuration too small, should have made foyer smaller and bathroom bigger, very awkward to get out of shower. No place to hang towels. Complimentary shampoo very tiny, women may need two. Quiet, did not hear other guests. "

"My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. The only odd things about this hotel is that it’s built a bit awkwardly with a split entrance way that made things feel cramped leading to the front desk. Also the one ice machine in the hotel was hit or miss and had to be reset twice before it started working - but overall neither of these oddities were big enough to detract from what was a comfortable and convenient stay."

"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff.. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also went to The Tavern located in the hotel for dessert at the end of the day, which was also very good. Great location. Would definitely stay here again"

"Enjoyed our stay and the experience at the Briar Barn Inn. The staff was great and dinner was excellent at their restaurant GROVE. The meal was perfectly prepared, large portions and the waitress Harley was very nice."

"Where to start? This stay was frustrating from beginning to end. The website lists the wrong address, so GPS takes you to an abandoned hotel nearby. Only after some confusion did we figure out the actual property was over a hill. It's also listed under a completely different name than what we booked, which doesn't help. At check-in, the front desk staff rushed through everything, spoke too fast to follow, and ended up charging my credit card twice despite a prepaid online booking. The room was clean but cold. The heater "fixed" that by cycling loudly on and off every five minutes all night; we barely slept. Water pressure was nearly nonexistent. Parking was fine, right outside the room. Breakfast: minimal food, no spoons, only OJ to drink. For the price, this was not acceptable. Too many basic things went wrong. I would not return or recommend."

"Swing chairs on the patio were fun, but the place was understaffed. The check in hours were not clearly communicated, and we were own with minimal cell signal and no wifi to get the remote check in going. The bathroom ceiling was peeling so much our kids wouldn't take a bath. The fixtures all looked new and modern, but the shower head was not something I'd ever select- possibly the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in a warm shower. The room was spacious, but beds uncomfortable. Coffee in room was terrible, but the tea was great. Full of highs and lows. With a different check in experience, the overall rating would have been a 3, but I wouldn't recommend or go back. The highs weren't worth the lows."

"Actuality, your app is more difficult than our stay at motel 6 Danvers. Older motel not hotel as others are. Manager helped us finish our booking. I would always stay at motel 6 whenever acoss the country I went. "

"A very dark, gloomy hotel. The lighting throughout the hotel was terrible, the gym had a lot of equipment but was dark and outdated. No complementary coffee anywhere in the hotel is unacceptable at those rates. "
