"This flat had some things a business client would need in a self contained property, but the kitchen lacked some essentialslike and chopping board etc. However, post covid, i was surprised to see the unnecessary decorative items still laying about that others can touch etc. The property has some wear and tear issues that should be addressed, but nothing to stop you from staying here."

"Difficult to find in the dark
Beds uncomfortable with small rooms, nowhere to open a case
No instructions for boiler or hot water. When we did work out the boiler, only 2 of us had a shower because the water was too hot and dangerous, we couldn’t get it any colder the temperature control in the shower did nothing.
The bathroom was musty and grimy and like a caravan size pod. "

"So good! Great location and lovely staff. Room had an amazing view and everything we needed. Be prepared to walk up lots of stairs to get to the top floor, but once you are there it’s totally worth it. Incredible view. "

"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. It completely ruined our stay, and our trip to Bristol, which we had to cut short, and created a massive headache for us logistically, as well as a lot of anxiety. The managers didn't...

"Beautiful, clean, well appointed accommodation. Can't fault any aspect of it at all.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone - it was top drawer."

"This was a wonderful place to stay with the ideal location and beautiful courtyard area. We were very happy and appreciated all the amenities such as washer, coffee, & snacks, too. "

"Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room (courtyard suite) was tired- chairs needed cleaning and foam in seats replacing, the wooden furniture was chipped. The spa was not good, staff were on phones and chatting at the reception area, meanwhile the changing rooms were full.if discarded slippers and towels and leaves from outside. The pool and decking area was also not kept clean and didn't look cared for (paper cups, weeds (nettles) and empty bin bags. There was a member of staff sweeping at the time we were in the pool but he wasn't doing it particularly thoroughly and swept around piles of seeds and leaves from the trees. The spa terrace and changing rooms were too small for the number of people using them so it didn't feel very relaxing. The hotel terrace was a nice, calm place to sit, as was the lounge and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was disappointing. Continental was 20 and there was very limited choice of pastries, meats, cheese and bread. The cooked was £26 and didn't feel like much more than I would get at a premier inn breakfast, bacon was pale, packet hashbrown and watery scrambled egg.fab location for bath city centre and front gardens were relaxing and well maintained. Not good value for money and disappointing for a 5 star hotel."
"It's really hard to rate this hotel as it's not really like any hotel I've stayed in.
Locating it wasn't easy nor was working out how to find reception. When I finally found it, the lady checking me in was excellent but overstretched meaning a long wait.
There were however a few very comfy lounges (yes at least 3 rooms) which if you were lucky enough to find the bar were nice albeit eccentric places to sit (unless you don't like deer heads and weird art) Finding the bar didn't mean anyone was there to get you a drink.
Dinner was reasonably priced at £45 set menu except they charged extra for sides and I was not allowed to take my dessert back to my room. What a ridiculous rule.
My room was in a second building that again had no signs so I just guessed where to go and greeted with tacky paper signs including the one for the broken lift.
Nice big and comfy room but very dark and broken lock
Stunning views and scenery especially if in shepherds huts.
In short this hotel could be epic. Is a nice place to stay I just didn't enjoy staggering around with my bags trying to find help or even a drink let alone the toilets.
And my last gripe. Breakfast doesn't start till 8:00 so I didn't get to try it. With lots of guests going to badminton you'd think they'd try and support them by starting earlier
Except for the receptionist lady nothing about it suggested they cared about the guest experience."
