"The desk clerk was nice . The dog area needed to be cleaned, dog poop in the area and needs grass. There is too much dirt! If the hotel wants to charge $30 per pet then the pet area should be clean and checked daily! I was not impressed with breakfast, not a fan of sausage I guess that is the cheaper meat!"

"We really like the homewood suites brand and look forward to the expected amenities- this one was in a great location but could use a bit of refreshment. Not sure why the hallways have the exposed wiring at the ceiling wall. Breakfast was nice but not as extensive as other locations such as Dallas/ Fort Worth. We had a very long walk from our unit 329 to lobby/ breakfast area. Overall rating is good and I would stay again "

"The staff was wonderful!!! With the stressful reason I was there they were so friendly and helpful. The cafe was great I ate there multiple times during my stay. The staff made me feel very welcome that I would definitely go back. "

"Poor plumbing!! The sink kept clogging up..there were hair on the “clean” towels!! Overall the place seems to be falling apart from neglect!! The carpet smells super musty!! However, the location is great!!"

"Economical way to stay as close to the Duke University Medical Center without breaking the bank. Ideal for student familles and visitors to the medical center No onsite restaurant but a pantry where you can buy basic microwave meals . We stayed in a suite which was twice the size of a normal hotel room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed . "

"Wasn't too bad of a place. Older and well used. Did have the breakfast which was great. Used the laundry room and it was free so that was good. Check in person was okay, not overly friendly. The check out guy was friendly. "
