"Our stay was wonderful. The National Exchange Hotel is an historical treasure; it is updated without compromising its historical ambiance. Our room was clean, mattress was firm, water pressure was good, decor was a mix of antique and new. The garden-like back courtyard area is a wonderful place to enjoy morning muffins and coffee. "Cute and comfortable. They did a beautiful job with an older building. The check in process was a little confusing because I thought it was a hotel - know its more like a VRBO. If you can’t carry bags up steep stairs this place may not work for you. Not an ADA friendly place. The cafe below it was fantastic and friendly, wonderful little bars, shops and restaurants in walking distance. "

We booked two rooms for four guests and it was cozy, clean and the decor was everything we’d been looking for. It’s steps from great food and an awesome bar right on the premises.
