What a fantastic hotel! Unbelievable value for what you get. Huge pool, very clean and spacious rooms, unbeatable location on Choeng Mon beach. Such a lovely area - sandy beach with calm, warm sea and many lovely beach bars and restaurants. Also fantastic cafes on the main road for breakfast / brunch. Very chilled vibe. Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

Stayed at Popppies for 12 nights - what a wonderful place. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful - starting right from the pickup from the airport with cold drinks and face cloths in the taxi. It is situated in an ideal location right on the beach in the middle of all the amenities - but sufficiently secluded as to believe you were in a little oasis cut off from the rest of the busy resort. Loved the little personal touches of the place and its uniqueness - would definitely recommend...

Best place to stay in Koh Samui. Fantastic rooms, hotel immaculate, staff so friendly, great choice of breakfast, Thai, European , British, and a la carte. The hot items for breakfast could be warmer though. Great beach location and the only place to stay in this area of Koh Samui

Have just spent a week in a tropical pool villa at this new resort. It is a truly 5 star experience. A personal butler attends to your every need (Max: you were outstanding). The food is excellent: beginning with a historic breakfast including oysters and champagne. The staff are delightful and attentive, the facilities excellent, the setting beautiful. Our family of three (husband, myself and 7 year old daughter), have just returned from an almost two week stay at Kimpton Kitalay. We had an incredible time at the hotel. Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever it was needed. They have a great view from the beach, breakfast is delicious, the cooking class was really great fun and the private villas are incredible if you want to enjoy the privacy of waking up to your own swimming pool. This is a lovely property with a great bunch of staff. Room was spacious and kept clean. It’s a bit further from fisherman’s village than I anticipated but exceptional we’re always happy to arrange a taxi for us . We ate lunch here twice and it was great, good quality and served with a smile.

Excellent stay. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and their attention to detail was fabulous. Loved the decor of the property. It was traditional, with the bamboo and wood decor, gives the place a zen like feeling. Best part was the location of the hotel and the way it is designed. What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. The Library is an amazing oasis of peace and privacy in a popular resort. You can experience the beach and other local attractions but retreat to the tranquility of the Library when you want some quiet relaxation. A truly unique hotel with many wonderful design features. Just a short trip (10 mins) from Koh Samui airport. Taxi cost is about 500 TBH. Very new hotel and very very warm service. Everyone greeted us with respect and a broad smile and very welcoming too. The staff were very helpful and very pro-active to our needs. The hotel has very amazing views in the morning and has 3 pools. Kids loved in the pool and 1 pool is veen fresh water with no chlorine impacting the eyes. Evenings at the pool they have a projector where movies are shown is a realy nice...

We absolutely fell in love with this place! Ok, so it was not in perfect decorative order but it really was so lovely! The staff are so lovely and helpful and the place was kept clean. The location was absolutely ideal - quiet at night but close enough to Chaweng nightlife. We enjoyed the beach, massages and great local food during the day and Chaweng in the evening. Tutt tutts and taxi's knew the hotel and all excursion vehicles also collected from that hotel too so it was perfectly placed...

The Resort was excellent. The Villas were beautifully kept with some unique features which made it very special. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It had a magical feeling in the evening looking out at the sea with a beautiful breeze. I would thoroughly recommend this wonderful place to anyone

The hotel is located perfectly opposite a beautiful beach, and a few minutes walk to the best restaurants on the island and Fishermans market. The hotel service and hospitality was incredible and I can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend this hotel.
