"The property is more of a bed and breakfast than a traditional hotel. The wellness centre is quite small, consisting of a sauna, jacuzzi and gym. I was disappointed to find that using the sauna and jacuzzi incurred an additional £20 charge. Although this may have been mentioned somewhere on the booking page, given the overall cost of the stay, I would have expected these facilities to be included in the price. My room was located at the top of four or five flights of stairs, which could be an issue for some guests. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, but the furniture and television were dated and could benefit from an upgrade. Breakfast cost £33, which I found surprisingly expensive. There was also no restaurant open in the evening, which limited the dining options available at the property. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was very good. Overall, while the stay was comfortable, I felt that some aspects did not represent the best value for money, particularly the additional charges for the wellness facilities and the cost of breakfast."
