"I was in the area for work and was extremely fortunate to choose Hotel Etico for my stay. I arrived fairly late in the evening to a beautiful old Manor with a magnificent stately feel. My room was spacious and was very comforting. It was wonderful to set myself up in the Library and complete some office tasks at the end of the work day and to later sit by the fire in the dining room. I shared some wonderful conversation with the staff and was absolutely delighted with my stay. I can’t wait to be...

"Although not in the heart of Katoomba or Leura, the B&B was still close to where we wanted to go. Our Hostess was very welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast (cold & hot) was ample and delicious."

"Quirky older building in great location - very close to centre of town and train station. A bit noisy and dated due to older building but otherwise very comfortable."

"Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts."

"Beautiful location, so close to the falls. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. Arrived later than expected and lights and heating we on for us. Keys were ready in the lockbox for us on arrival. Would recommend. Love a balcony and this places had two!!"

"Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "
