"Great old building with view of lake. Not for a loud person though, as you can hear your neighbors talking through the walls. Staff not available most of the time in person. Restaurant attached has amazing food."

"Great value for the price; a charming "smart" hotel that was so easy to access and enjoy. What a gem. I paid for this in advance online, arrived and used a code to enter the room, which was accessible from the outside. We parked just a couple of yards away from the room. The staff was courteous and available through text messaging. When we needed more coffee and towels, we texted and they showed up! There is a great pizza place across the street and top notch restaurants just minutes away, on foot. Plus, it was a five-minute drive to the ski mountain, which was the purpose of our stay. The room was just right, the bed comfortable, the propane fireplace perfect for warming our toes. The rustic accents were delightful and not overdone. Five stars. "
