Fantastic Game Lodge in the Karoo

We loved Samara. We were treated to an upgrade to a delightful suite in the gardens. The staff were all charming, the food very good and the game drives excellent. We would certainly stay again.

Tolle Lage der Lodge, Zimmer sind sauber, sehr geräumig, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und ausreichend - inkl. Überraschungspicknick am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag. Die Pirschfahrten sind informativ und spannend. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt! Eine Oase fernab des Alltagsstress und der Hektik der Großstädte - Samara Private Game Reserve ist absolut eine Reise wert !!!

Melhor Safari privado da região fora do Kruger.

Eu fui com um grupo de oito pessoas. Tudo foi surreal. A estrutura, os quartos, a casa principal, os jantares e cafés da manhã, tudo sensacional. Os funcionários são super atenciosos e prestativos. Inclusive tive um problema com pneu furado e os próprios funcionários trocaram, consertaram e ainda ligaram para a locadora do veículo para resolver tudo. Tivemos um almoço inesquecível em cima da montanha com vista para toda a Savana africana. Vale cada centavo se hospedar aqui. No Safari vimos varios animais bem de perto, os guias são atenciosos, sabem de cada animal com detalhes e respondem a todas as perguntas.

We couldn't recommend this place more. Everything was perfect! From the warm welcome of the attentive staff, who made us feel home during our stay - to our knowledgeable animal tracker Ben who went out of his way to find the big five during our 4 game drives. A hot filled bath waiting for us after the game drive to refresh before our dinner outside under millions of starts and next to an open fire - just magic. A big birthday cake for our daughter topped off our unforgettable experience. Thank you Samara for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Superb facility Vast property therefore Game viewing sparse which was purpose of visit Road to the Reserve atrocious where our tire was cut by stones Smaller vehicles would have a very difficult time reaching the Reserve

Wunderbare Lodge, - warm und herzlich!

Samara ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung in einem riesigen Gebiet wundervoller und abwechslungsreicher Landschaft. Exzellente Safari-Drives mit kompetenten Guides. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr persönlich und herzlich. Der Manager kümmert sich um jedes Detail; auch alle anderen Angestellten. Samara ist ein unvergessliches und fantastisches Erlebnis.
