"The room was absolutely filthy. Every surface was covered in unidentifiable substances, hair and crumb tumbleweeds in every corner. Splatters of liquids and (lets just call them "greasy") handprints everywhere. A solid "yuck"."

Rooms are pretty clean, fairly modern, and the multi-story parking underneath is great if you're traveling through or are visiting the city for work."

"This is my 5th stay at this location over the last 5 months and I was surprised with the disinterest staff had in my problems and the lack of resolution to any problems I had. I was there for 6 days without having room service stop by to empty trash, refill toilet paper, fresh towels. I was there with my family which includes 2 teenage girls so the trash filled quick and the towels needed a refresh. After the first day of no service, I assumed something happened because it wasn't normal. After the second day I had to get more toilet paper (1 roll) and asked for the room to be cleaned the following day. When that didnt happen I had to ask a second time for toilet paper (because they didnt clean it) and asked again for the room to be cleaned the next day because trash was starting to collect. When it didnt happen the second time, I had to get fresh towels and was assured again that room service would come. On the last night of my stay, after trying 3 times to get the room cleaned, I was told the general manager would be available for me to speak to the following moring. Handed me his business card. So the following morning when I stopped by the front desk, I was told he wasn't in yet. When I stopped by the front desk to check out a few hours later I was told he wouldn't be coming in. The whole experience I was met with a lack of concern from all front desk staff. This experience has me questioning my future stays with DoubleTree."

"We were super excited for this trip at this hotel, mainly for the pool for my toddler. The pool was filthy and had bugs and hair floating in it. The room they gave us was the only one with a brick wall outside that looked like a party rooftop area and pretty sketchy, but luckily no one wandered up there to look in our windows while we were there. The breakfast was fine, but the floors in the pool area and bathrooms had noticable grime and the floors hadn't been scrubbed in a while. Such a bummer we were really looking forward to a fun stay with a pool day only if the area was a little cleaner. Luckily our toddler enjoyed it! "

"Pool was closed and we weren’t informed. Grand daughter was disappointed and the rest of the family was too. We weren’t given any refund except $50 when we inquired and we booked 3 rooms. Not quite what Embassy use to be. So many kids staying the weekend were so disappointed "
