27 Jan 2020It waa a Sunday so shops weren't open. Unfortunately since my last visit Blaenau Ffestiniog has lost a lot of their businesses. Fantastic area for the slate minea and railway though

"Had a lovely, peaceful stay at Pisgah Guesthouse which just what I needed for a weekend of exploration. The room was very comfortable, the whole property was clean to a very high standard and the hosts were good at communicating with guests. Also had a lovely self-service breakfast. Nice weekend break
"Nice old hotel, a little dated but clean and food was good, was woken up in the early hours by the sound of shattering glass as if the window had been broken but nothing was amiss which was a little creepy"

27 Oct 2019Utterly captivating and beautiful, every new turn was a wow moment, I've never been anywhere quite like it. The high street is struggling as all are through the country but the people are so friendly and the place is stunning.

15 Sep 2019It's a quiet town, built for slate miners back in the day.The terminus for the Ffestiniog railway, travel on this is a must !! The Llechwedd slate mine in 20 mins walk out of the town.
