"It was a much needed night away. Very clean and comfortable with lovely views at the front of the hotel -dual aspect. Had a noisy neighbour,(child on phone), but it settled down. Downside was in places the floor seemed uneven and very squeaky but as it was just one night this was fine."

"My friend and I have just returned from a 3 night stay here and I can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious and speedy service too. The entertainment that we saw was very good. It had everything that we needed and it is so conveniently located for all amenities. "All the staff at the Royal Oak couldn’t have done anything more to help us during our stay. From advising us how to get to Pen-Y-Pass, which routes to take up Snowdon and where is good to eat. The food was great and a good range of options for all on the menu. Hotel itself is a little tired and could do with decorating in some places but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to do Snowdon again (which is likely) and would recommend it to others as well. "
