This place was nothing like the advertised photos, filthy bed covered in hairs and the after 10 calls and emails I still haven’t heard back even though I told them I couldn’t stay there and had to book new accommodation , no reply regards refund !!! Beware don’t book this lace !!!!!!

Would highly recommend, was unsure at first, with some bad reviews but they where unfounded, very nice clean apartment with all utensils included, I will definitely book again The only thing that was a little let down was the TV was broke But I had my iPad so could still watch everything on that

This property has no heating no hot water tv broke only one plug sockets in the whole apartment works no communication with owner once your there she just doesn’t care and takes your money knowing you have no hot water or heating when temperature is -5 outside now she won’t reply to any emails of a full refund would advise anyone to stay clear of this property

I wouldn’t rate this property at all we got there 2 hours early our fault I know asked if it was possible to check in early was told £10 per hour finally checked in at 4pm out Normal time room was in the 3rd floor we was not told that I’m disabled and we had 2 babies in prams we got in the room and it had not been cleaned from the last occupants alcohol and rubbish in bedroom cooler sorry razors on the floor smash glass on the couch I called the emergents line and an hour and 3 calls later we was moved to the basement was much better but not without fault last occupants medication box in the draw for pregablin cupboard doors missing ect we was there for 2 nights and spent the day trying to not move back to the 3rd floor was told the room we was in was for 1 night and someone was due I. It but I could pay £350 to stay in it that night so they were either going to mess someone’s holiday up or they was lying about someone coming

Property was cold with heating not working. The shower is combi which turns water cold quickly then hot. Tv wasnt working for evening relaxation. If you call them thry are unhelpful and send no help. Emails from marika very unprofessional unhelpful too. Do not recommend this properly especially with kids.

The worst property I have ever stayed at. Dirty, smelly with broken furniture. Absolutely disgusting. The pictures used to advertise this property are not accurate. This is false advertising. Don’t ever stay here.

The bed is terrible no protection cover on mattress so your sleeping with everyone whos slept in the bed aswell as the pillows. Springs coming through the mattress and its not a double size bed. The pics are not what they say they are advertising. Needs updating, and better security for the door that didnt lock properly.

The pictures on the website have nothing to do with the real flat. There is a heavy smell inside like humidity or smoking, I don’t know but it made us struggle to breath and now I have a cough. We stayed there one night, not two as we booked, just because it was too late to leave the first night we got there. Not even a bed sheet for the sofa for the kids, crumbles and mess everywhere. Kitchen cupboards full of stains, no central heating working in October. Netflix wasn’t working. The second duvet was smelling terrible. Dust and mess everywhere on the plates, surfaces. The hallway entrance was smelling disgusting. Another drugged person was our neighbour and he seemed so odd. I felt terrified to sleep there one night. The noise from upstairs after 11, footsteps and laughter…. The towels were so old and bleached stained as well. I felt very dissatisfied especially that this trip was for my son’s birthday. Communication terrible as well. She never replied back when she scammed me with the voucher, instead of £100 worth, they took just £58. She never replied about heating when my kids were cold. Extremely disgusted. I will take this forward. I won’t get an illness due to an unpleasant place. I don’t have pictures of everything but a few. Terrible place. She destroyed our little break as we had to find another accommodation in Liverpool. This place is a scam. Don’t trust the pictures! I would really like my money back!

Was offered an alternative apartment as the one I’d booked was undergoing maintenance they didn’t tell us this until 10 mins after checkin when we get to that address it’s already occupied after talking to different operators from both hotels.com and stay with empire all they could offer for 4 people was a one room hotel it’s absolutely disgraceful we got isssued a refund for the stay at around 3am in the morning and had to sleep in the car and what was supposed to be an extended weekend didn’t even start. Thanks hotels.com thank you so very much

AVOID AT ALL COST!
We were supposed to stay at this property for one night but on arrival we had to leave instantly! There was damp on the windows, the carpet was filthy, the beds felt damp and there was bed bugs on the mattress. Our son is severely asthmatic and could hardly breathe after only a couple of minutes in the property. The pictures for these properties are definitely false advertising!

Spent a lot of money booking this room iv never felt so robbed in my life shows hot tub but ther is no hot water to fill it had to use pans and kettle fuming causes this was the only reason I book it for the kids hair all in the plug had to sleet on the floor because it advantage for 6 people to sleep and the sofa bed felt like it was going to collapse so didn't dare sit on it never mind sleep on it just didn't look like the photos on the website 😢

Property is NOT as advertised Picture is from downstairs Flat No1, we were in Flat 6 at top. Ours was in dire need of upgrading and painting. Sink plug stuck rigid so could not use. Reported it on the Sunday night, still not resolved or heard from anyone o. Wednesday morning when we left. Double bed on one of the bedrooms had slats which had not been screwed down, so mattress kept falling thru! Both chest of drawers were broken TV signal was awful so unusable. Crockery in kitchen was dirty upon arrival Stairwell absolutely STUNK!! Carpets needed cleaning and replacing We had 3 kids and did not feel safe!! Key safe needs to be replaced and took an hour to get code accepted to get keys. TBH wished it had not opened as we would have turned around and gone home. AWFUL place AVOID

The property was dirty with hair everywhere. The towels were damp and there were no toileteries not even any handwash. The window handle was broken therefore the window was not fully closing and was not locking. The wind kept opening the window. The tv was not working and the wifi was very very slow. I made many calls to empire apartments and was told that someone would call me back and would come to sort things out but no one ever called me back. I went with my young children and did not feel safe at all due to the window. I had to check out early due to all the problems and still have not heard anything back from epmire apartments

Never judge a book by its cover
They say don't judge a book by its cover and that's exactly true with this place. You pull up outside and you wonder what you're getting yourself in for, but then we were really shocked (in a good way) at how nice, clean and modern the apartment was when we got inside, especially for the price we paid. Sadly looks aren't everything and the beds leave abit to be desired, the mattresses are in need of changing, woke up with a bad back the next morning but I guess some might find them comfortable. Also, our friends who stayed on the sofa bed in the living room got zero sleep due to to the blocked gutters dripping badly with the rain onto the plastic canopy over the outside door. The gutter and this canopy both need fixing/removing. Overall for the price we probably got what we deserved. Looks wise, excellent, can't fault it but comfort and overall stay, not the best

Reasonable and close to town
Easy walking distance to tram stop and town about 10 minutes. Clean and easy check in. Beds not comfortable and shower hot and cold, not their fault but guests below smoking weed which stank out our apt. Free on road parking and plenty of it

This company was very unprofessional, unclean and stressful. This is false advertisement as we booked the room with the hot tub bath specifically for the bath and after the first two days we couldn’t wash because the hot water was not working and had to fill the bath with the kettle just to wash. We then found out the company knows that the boiler is too small for the bath yet they still continue to advertise this. There was heroin needles outside the front door, a hole in the floor in the bedroom and when the man came to look at the boiler he wasn’t even an engineer he was the laundry man. Overall trying to get my money back it was absolutely terrible WOULD NOT recommend to anyone.

Hidden gem
Check in was simple, received a text message 15 minutes before given check in time with clear instructions. We were in the basement flat (could have been noted on the booking). Had to go through property and out of the back to reach it. Outside light was not working so had to use torch on phone to get down. Once inside though we were extremely happy with the apartment. Very modern, lovely decor throughout, lots of space. Clean towels and bedding, central heating set to keep apartment warm, electric fires in both living room and master bedroom. Had requested hairdryer and that was left in bedroom. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again. Close enough to town centre and sea front but set back enough not to be disturbed.

When we arrived, we hadn't received our entry details so waited in the rain on the phone to get the code and apartment number. Door would not lock properly from the inside took us 20 minutes to lock it. Loved everything about the inside of the apartment other than the 3 things which were the sofa bed, actually sitting on the sofa was uncomfortable and felt like it you was sat on a couple of pieces of wood. The square toilet wasn't cleaned properly and the toilet seat was actually too small and kept moving everytime you sat on it. The most exciting part we was looking forward too was the jetted bath unfortunalty one tap just spun in a circle not doing anything and the tap just ran cold. As we were super excited for the jetted bath we spent over an hour filling the bath with the shower and a kettle. Once in it we enjoyed it, the changing colours and the bubbles from the jacuzzi. The tv was incredible access to netflix meant we could enjoy a few films. Really enjoyed our stay other than the issues mentioned above.

I’ve no idea what those pictures are of on the website but they weren’t my apartment. Building is in a state of disrepair, room was tatty. Bed was tiny and practically broken, a chair was on its last legs, a window is broken. The shower was unusable. Thanks god it was just one night and cheap or I’d of walked out.
