"This place has a nice view looking out on their mountain side. They also have two gas grills iwith bench table. I’m the same area they have a hot tub but that was not working at the time of our visit. Showers were small but useable "

"Grocery store across the street, restaurant next door, neighborhood to walk in and parking right in front of our room. Meyer was very helpful in helping me clean up when I spilled my morning shake on my white pants. Thought I'd throw them away but he was able to get the stain completely out. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean with nice white towels and the shower water pressure was good and strong. No coffee maker in the list of amenities but when I asked for one it was placed...

"This place is the pits. If I had a remolded room, which I did, I would hate to see an old room. No security lock on the door, the parking lot is small and unlit, in a seedy part of town. There is also no over night person working. Went to check out in the morning and lobby door was locked. Would not stay here again."

"Very unique concept. Checked in at the desk. When I inquired about the restaurant, I had a choice between pizza and wings. Not a problem. the gentleman at the desk, now became the waiter and cook. While waiting on food, the same gentlemen then became the bartender! Good food, cold beer, prompt service! The rooms could definitely use repair and updating, but for the price it was fine. It appears to be work in process. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again and hope to see improvements in time."

"The room was clean and decorated in a cute way. The view was amazing. Loved getting picked up and dropped off by the trolley."

"We stayed 2 nights. We arrived after 7 the first night and shortly after checking in found our toilet did not flush. The lady at the front desk eventually moved us to another room. That room the microwave was out. The staff if phenomenal, the property is dated and could use some attention. The staff the THE only reason i rated so high."

"Why not stay the night in a cute little cabin with a wide porch in the woods instead of a standard hotel? The staff is super nice and helpful, and our room is clean and comfortable. We had a picnic on the porch after our tour of Mount Rushmore which is only 4 miles away. Highly recommended!"

"Host was easy to work with and very welcoming. When we had car trouble on a holiday weekend, they were very understanding and we didn't have any problems extending our stay an extra night. Definitely on our list of return stays! "
