"Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return."

"The breakfast was a good variety of buffet style except the hot cooked full breakfast or part off, plenty of filter coffee and pots of tea. The staff, Debbie, Amy and Katy were all friendly and polite. Very professional and a pleasure to be served by them"

"Beautiful guesthouse set in lovely tropical gardens. Very spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed, lovely decor, large 4 piece bathroom, a handy fridge, well-stocked hospitality tray, fantastic views. Spotlessly clean. Very peaceful. Excellent breakfast choices with cereal, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, cooked to order full English etc. Small honesty bar. David & his staff are friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. Lovely 8 days spent fir my 60th Birthday - didn't want to leave!"
