"Excellent from top to bottom but breakfast and dinner service was slow and personnel still unsure what to do and how to serve. More training needed. EG- my Soup for starters arrived at the same time my Leg of Lamb. Waiter had no idea which he should give me first. Laughable but please at a 5 Star !!"

"Though it is quite a journey from the ferry terminal and any other store, it was a great, quiet place to unwind and just enjoy a day reading, in the sun, or just exploring the facilities and amenities. Staff were warm and quick to attend to our needs. Bicycles were free to use, and buggies were just a call away to transport you anywhere within the resort. Honestly, my friend and I felt very pampered. Furthermore, there were numerous activities you can participate in provided by the resort. But I just enjoyed reading on the windy patio in my room and cycling in the mornings and evenings. ;) There also were a few little touches (free transport to and from the resort with cookies and water, welcome drinks, cool towels, farewell kuehs delivered to your room…) that really warmed the cockles of our hearts. "

"The property had a lively feel, yet I also felt like I could find a quiet spot to relax whenever I wanted one, whether on the beach, near the pool, or in the other public areas. Beriana at the front desk was amazing! She helped me arrange a car service to the boat terminal for a speedboat to Batam Island for the following day. She recognized and greeted me warmly when I went to check out and meet the driver, and that meant a lot to me. The external car service (driver Khalid) was wonderful. Special thanks to Benny at the pool as well! I live thousands of miles away but really hope to return to Bintan someday. The staff and others I met were a huge part of that!"

"The Sanchaya exceeded all our expectations. It was absolutely spectacular from its location to its beautiful buildings and grounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and the food was beyond superb. We stayed at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore before coming here and I would say that The Sanchay far surpassed Raffles, which is knowns as one of the top hotels in the world. I can't recommend this hotel enough."

"Just checked out today after a short getaway with my girlfriends. Room was neat and clean. Plenty of space even though there were three of us. Mira and her colleagues at front desk were friendly and warm. They even remembered our ferry departure timing and came to remind us during breakfast when the shuttle to the ferry terminal was arriving. Overall awesome stay!"

"Amazing stay, friendly staff, clean room. Beautiful environments, especially the restaurant area close to the water. Even though it was low season and few people we still got immediate help to get on a snorkeling tour. We also had fun with the ping pong table and good encounters with the manager."
