"The property in downtown Rothenburg, but not right in the main square which was perfect. No noise at night, but within a 5 minute walk to the Rathaus and main square. The rooms were clean with nice opening windows overlooking the street in front of the hotel with a view of the church across the street. It was like living 300 years ago with very little car traffic allowed. Parking in the back was very handy to leave the car during the stay. The whole town is walkable and picturesque every direction you look. The bed was comfortable with real goose down comforters and pillows. The staff was very friendly offering fresh fruits and breads along with eggs made to order at breakfast."

"We absolutely loved our Mountain View. The location is right by grindelwald first which is really nice to get there early. The breakfast buffet was more American than we are used to in Europe with overeasy eggs and bacon, which was a plus for us. The staff was so helpful and being able to have a shuttle service from the terminal is nice because even though it’s not far it is a little up hill. It was also rainy when we left too. There is no air conditioning which is normal in Europe but I did forget about this. Luckily we went in October so we just kept the window open with no bugs coming in through the night. We would stay here again!"
