"The water pressure could be better, besides that great place to stay everything near by Carmel is only a 10 minute drive, the aquarium is only a 7 minute drive. Really nice location wise. Beds are comfortable. Would stay again."
"I had a great visit to Monterey, CA. The weather was incredible and being close to Monterey Bay was so nice. I enjoyed my stay at the Monterey Hotel. The staff was very nice and it is within walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and the walking path up and down the bay. The hotel was built many years ago and is positioned to catch the nice breeze that Monterey Bay offers. Great food and beautiful scenery all around."
"The Architecture is classical and timeless. This is my second stay. First stay was over 30 years ago. Good location. Close to Wharf #1 and #2. Close to airport. Went there for meeting brought my computers. Got much work done is the perfect atmoshere. Got love Monterey."
"This is our second time staying at this hotel. It was very expensive, but love the convenience of being within walking distance to shopping, food, fisherman’s wharf, and other activities. I just parked the car at hotel parking garage and never had to jump into it again. Again it’s pricey, but if your budget allows, I recommend it."
"Very happy with the hotel, the friendly staff, the rooms are very clean, the colonial style makes it very different, very good location near the pier, the beach and the city center, the breakfast is acceptable mostly if you go for a walk you want to try the food of the place... you have to pay for parking but in front of the hotel there is a lot of parking"
"It was a pretty basic hotel overall, but we slept well, the room had everything we needed, and the location was good for our needs. The hotel was very pet friendly including an off leash dog area with toys. One big surprise is that the hotel is right on the public transit line, making it easy to get to downtown and Canary Row without needing to drive."
