"If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. "The motel was ok. There is no staff member on site most of the time, but they have a supply closet with extras. The rooms have been redone to a 1960s decor. They were ok, but could have been nicer. The beds are on the hard side, but the room was clean. They are still remodeling the outside, so it was still a bit rough. Overall an ok stay, especially with very few options in the area."
