Only stayed a night, LHR Hoppa (shuttlentook me straightbthere alothughbthebwait was around 45 mkns. The hotel had everything I needed. Conceirge staff were good, restaurant and bar was quick and efficient, Room was quiet, bathroom was hot and clean. Decent TV and channels. I would return. ...

Area seemed nice with a reasonable selection of shops but mainly cafes, restaurants & pubs. Quite residential and built up behind the main High Street but not commercial structures. Schools within the area. But not sure I’d consider living here
It is a bustling, attractive town with lots of history. The castle and the ancient church of St Peters are beautiful and very interesting. There are lots of upmarket shops plus 2 markets. Beautiful canal and 3 miles from Ashridge forest with deer.
