"Superb location, in Bryggen: exactly where you want to be in Bergen. The historic town is right around you and you can walk to the piers and the fish market. The airport shuttle starts from right outside the hotel, so that is an added convenience. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were included, which is unusual. Breakfast was a generous spread. Dinner was simple but adequate. The bar in the lobby is open until late. (Note: no food available after 8:00 pm.) We expect to be back in Bergen soon, and don't need to shop for a hotel: we will definitely stay here again."

"As a solo traveler, the room had enough room for one. Good thing I was one. My stay was wonderful. The staff were always so polite and helpful; a real joy. Breakfast was healthy, plentiful, and delicious. I always felt safe, everything was clean, and my room was quiet if I closed the window. (There was a slight industrial noise outside all night, but a closed window took care of it.) Never before have I given a hotel high stars for eco-friendly, but this one deserved it. Well done! "
