"It was a nice place to stay if you’re attending an event. However, the beds were quite squeaky and wobbly. Also, the check-out door was locked, which made it difficult to return the key normally; a key box would be a good idea. Overall, it was relatively quiet, and I appreciated the back entrance for after-hours access."

"yes it was a lovely . we had a nice meal on friday night. the staff was very friendly, and the room nice and clean couldnt ask for a better place to stay , unfortunate we had to leave on the Saturday morning because of family ploblems back in Norwich , we were looking forward to staying till the morning morning . we will be back . "As this stay was purchased via Tesco Clubcard Rewards I was expecting the usual quality lottery, however I was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well located. It’s right on top of the castle which unfortunately for us was shut, so we passed our time in the local pubs and restaurants, of which there are plenty. I would definitely stay here again, but as others have suggested, have a plan about where to park"
"Lovely hotel, room was big and spacious it had a very comfy bed, bathroom had a bath and shower. Great well equipped gym, huge pool, sauna and steamer all included in room rate for you to use at no extra price. Staff were all so polite and friendly. Grounds and golf course were beautiful with fabulous views from the restaurants. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold selections and you had so much to choose from, couldn’t fault anything the eggs were amazing. We also had a meal in their grill restaurant faultless service and food was delicious. We will 100% be coming back for another trip. "
