I enjoyed my nice room, the helpful staff, room service, and the food selections for both morning and evening meals in the restaurant. One issue I had was with the front desk staff not following through on my request to speak with a manager about a problem that took place while I was in the restaurant early one morning and a group of men (not hotel guests) started fighting. As the only other guest in the restaurant at the time, i quickly left my table, alerted the front desk, and went back up to my room. As the morning progressed, i had to make several trips to front desk to finally speak to a manager to make sure he knew what happened. As i shared with him about the incident in the restaurant: security should have been alerted much more quickly, the rowdy group dismissed from the restaurant, and the comfort of paying hotel guests taken into consideration. Other than saying, “Sorry, sir,” he did nothing to make amends for the incident. I hope he clarified with his staff what to do differently next time, should this happen again. The lack of a manager on duty before 10:30am may need to be reconsidered
