"I was staying at a hostel that didn’t have AC. I noticed this hotel as I was walking past it. I asked if they had rooms available and was told yes and the rates. I looked on hotels.com and found it for a bit cheaper than if I had booked in person.
Room was huge and clean. Breakfast was good as well. "

"Normandy is in the heart of centro. It's convenience is good. The property is a bit dated but the attention of staff made the stay well deserved. Front Desk was exceptional. Restaurant, housekeeping and room service was excellent. In the night its location can feel a bit deserted but is generally safe. I enjoyed my stay."

Good value hotel in a central location
"Most of the staff were helpful and professional, especially the staff in the restaurant who were friendly. However the first time I checked in the man was very unhelpful and told me there was no booking in my name and tried to sell me a room. I was upset and then he said 'I need your passport'. I told him again I had booked and paid for a room and he seemed to nod and I gave my passport. He had found my booking but didn't tell me or apologise and there was no welcome. The second time I checked in, the woman has welcoming, friendly and professional. She also spoke excellent English. "
