The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were large, clean and bed comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was very hot (thermostat read 30 degrees). The details on the listing said the rooms were air conditioned. When we inquired at the front desk we were told that the air conditioning only worked starting in May (although the hallways were air conditioned). I asked about fans for the rooms but got no response. The main purpose for booking a hotel room is to sleep and in an extremely hot room no one could sleep, the room was a sweat box. The hotel description for air conditioning is deceiving.

"I recently stayed here with a group of four during a busy trip through Beijing and Xi'an, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The Highlights: Service: The staff here are the true standouts. I had a high-end PC component (an AIO cooler) shipped to the hotel while I was away on a side trip to Xi'an. The front desk team was incredibly helpful, coordinating the delivery and keeping the package secure until I returned. Their communication and willingness to assist with logistics made my trip stress-free. Cleanliness & Design: The hotel is remarkably clean and features a sleek, modern aesthetic. After long days of exploring the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, it was a breath of fresh air to come back to such a well-maintained and contemporary space. Location: Perfectly situated for anyone looking to navigate the city. It served as a great 'home base' for our group. Whether you are in Beijing for the history or just passing through, the hospitality here is top-notch. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit. Xie Xie!"
