"As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys...

"The location and the price made it great. The furnishings and bedding need to be replaced, and the white painted woodwork needs to be cleaned with bleach, but nothing was unacceptable. The front desk clerk was a very friendly guy!"

"My stay was excellent once I was able to check in after having to cancel my reservation made on EXPEDIA. Econolodge staff bent over backwards to try and get EXPEDIA’s third party payment to go through (I paid with One Key Cash) but ultimately could not even after an hour back and forth on the phone with Expedia.
