"So strange to me that this place has such great reviews.. while the staff is amazing, the rooms themselves and hallways and elevators and just very rundown. The art in the hallways is literally hand drawn with sharpies.. or perhaps a magazine picture modgepodged with a frame sharpied around it? The decor needs a major overhaul. The pool is beautiful and the beachside bar is great. I cannot say enough about the attentiveness of the beach staff. We had a beachfront room so our view was great as well.. just mainly the lobby and halls and rooms need a redo but the staff and pool and food in the octopus restaurant go above and beyond. "

"Great hotel with walking distance to beach, good restaurants and shops. Vance at the Front Desk was very welcoming and cheerful and was able to check us in earlier. We had a nice ocean view room. The floor was still sandy and probably needed another good swipe. But overall, the room was nice. The ladies at breakfast very friendly and breakfast was good. Parking is just around the corner in a parking garage for $25/day. But there are parking fees everywhere in the area!!!!So, compared to the $49/day we paid in Miami, this was ok and one can go in and out of the garage. Overall, would definitely stay again as it made our stay easy, convenient and comfortable. "

"Bahama Beach Club Pompano is going to my place to stay whenever I take trips to the Fort Lauderdale side of Florida.
The place was clean, close to the beach and provided all the amenities for anyone who loves the beach...beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler. The bbq grill was a plus as well and we actually did BBQed one day
Although Bahama Beach is walking distance from the beach, we drove and found parking easily.
