"We had an overall nice stay here. The hotel is a beautiful old building in a fantastic location, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. On-site parking was a great bonus (£15 per night). ​Our room was very clean, and having a mini-fridge was a nice touch. Sitting by the window enjoying the city view was definitely a highlight. ​A few areas that need improvement: ​Bathroom: The shower water pressure was poor and didn't get very hot. The hot tap on the sink didn't work at all (despite the "caution: hot water" sign). ​Noise & Flooring: The floorboards were extremely creaky, and soundproofing between rooms and hallways is quite thin. Thankfully, other guests were quiet during our stay, so it wasn't a major issue for us. ​ Comfort & Maintenance: The pillows were very flat (I was glad I brought my own!), and the lock on our room door was a bit temperamental."
