"Friendly helpful staff, spotless room, comfortable bed. We stayed in the Lincoln room near the balcony and it was so cool. Close to the road so there is street noise but we were able to sleep well. Excellent singer in the bar the restaurant had a varied menu with some local specialties. Recommend the fried green tomatoes and shepherds pie! Loved staying in such a historic building. "
