"The staff are very welcoming. It is a beautiful, well run place to stay. The rooms are very big and very clean. It is located near to shops and restaurants. The breakfast is first class. We enjoyed our stay so much. If you are visiting Swellendam I would encourage everyone to stay there. If you need a stop over, this is the place to stay."

"We stayed at the Karoo Art Hotel for one night on our way to Cape Town. It is a wonderfully restored hotel in keeping with its character. The bed was very comfortable and our room spacious. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good, we would definitely return if ever in South Africa. It was nice to safely be able to walk around the town."

The property and my room were beautiful and the breakfast was a good as any Iโve had at at B&B (made even more enjoyable by the view over the garden and olive grove). Best yet was the personal care provided the owners Pam and โAntโ who are very hands on. I highly recommended Montagu Vines."
