The property has a number of rooms with internal facing windows - we ended up with one on the first floor that directly faced another room. As the staff couldn't turn the air conditioning on as it was centrally controlled we had to open the internal window (as did other rooms) and it made for a really awkward experience given how close the rooms were all together as we were looking directly into someone else's room. The hotel and staff were nice but the room was not what I expected and I wouldn't stay here again.

We booked this 4 star hotel for 4 nights because the pictures on the website showed a nice room and also because of the location . At the check in we asked for a room with a little bit of a view and the lady said that our only option for a better room was to pay 40 more euros per night so we didn’t upgrade. We went to the room and she gave us the smallest room we’d ever seen we couldn’t move properly and even open our luggage…terrible!!!! We went to the front desk and another girl was there and she was extremely helpful she upgraded us to a better room(which was exactly like the website picture)and we didn’t have to pay anything because that room was the room we had booked The breakfast buffet is not really a buffet you have to order the main course and everything is very limited . The staff are very nice but the hotel I didn’t like even the upgrade room .

Excellent service from hotel staff, hotel is located in a prime location and is easily accessible to the La Rambla strip. We had a rental car & the hotel staff recommended a cheap car park which was less than 5mins by walk. Hotel staff also surprised us with a cake & champagne to our room to celebrate my partners birthday, that was a lovely surprise. Hotel was clean and modern from inside. Will definitely stay here again. :) One tiny downfall, the tv in the room was not a smart tv so we couldn’t watch anything in English but other than that perfect couple of data in Barcelona, definitely would recommend this hotel
