"Lovely old mansion which retains its character.. the internal patio and the rear garden were particularly lovely (we stayed in a modern extension overlooking the garden, which was brighter than the rooms in the main house). The room was well appointed. The towels were a little threadbare, but they did put hot water bottles in the bed two nights of our stay, which was a quaint touch. Breakfast varied from a buffet one morning (excellent) to a menu based breakfast (less good)."
