Great stay at the Mercure, if you're looking for a relaxed, quiet and peaceful environment, this is your place. Rooms are large, bright and support clean. Staff is very welcoming, helpful and polite from the receptionists to the cleaners all the way to the parking attendant. The sea view villas are very quiet and private, though the sea view is somewhat blocked by trees, and there is no sand so don't expect a beach view. Still a pretty setting beside the ocean, nice for relaxing. Minimalistic style rooms, well layed out and have everything you need. Excellent service, especially in the restaurant and the breakfasts are delicious and beautifully presented. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend, especially for couples.

Nice Hotel with great view, very clean with very friendly staff. It's great to watch the sunset from your spacious terrace or from the Restaurant at the top of the hill. We visited with our 2 children aged 2 and 7 months, initially for 1 week. The rooms are big and well kept, the swimming pool is huge and the added bonus of a children's play area which was air conditioned. Breakfast was fine, typical of most 4 star hotels in Thailand. The staff were great and really made our stay memorable; especially Katie, Wanisa, Jenny. We loved our stay here, so much so we extended for an additional 4 nights. We look forward to returning in future.

We really loved this place, the individual villas are fantastic and comfortable, the pool area and bar/restaurant are also great. Fantastic massages at reasonable prices are also onsite, with the sea in the background it makes for an amazingly relaxing experience. We stayed in a room that opened out at the back onto a small terrace which was right on Kai Bai beech. The resort seems to be recently built and everything is very clean and new. The prices are very reasonable and I would class it as more of a 4 star resort than the specified 3! Generally very happy with everything about this place. The sunsets and baby elephants which are brought to the beach to bath are fantastic.

Beautiful location with an exclusive feel. Bungalow 5 offered a fantastic vista. Everybody working on site was happy, welcoming and friendly (including Coco, Oreo, Lazy and Day the dogs (maybe that's just Thailand)). The breakfast was lovely, fluffiest pancakes I've ever had!
