There was a hole in ceiling which caused a 10 in long gecko to come into our room along with many little ones. There was no bedding other than a simple sheet on the bed. "The rooms were quite rundown, so much so that we asked to be moved, there were numerous problems. Our second room was reasonable. The lady in charge, Nancy at the front desk, is wonderful and she is very helpful and friendly. She wasn't there on the day we arrived, and on check-in we found her offsider rude and sulky, not even a smile. We called her down an hour or so later with a list of what was wrong in the room, but basically no response. The next day Nancy was there and everything ran...

Location is just a few minutes away from the main road, so it's quiet and everything is within walking distance if you don't want to ride a scooter. But you should rent one for exploring the island.
