With new COVID-19 safety measures in place, travel looks a lot different at present. These are some handy things to know before you jet off to Baltic Sea:

• Look into the restrictions and rules in both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so make sure you check before you book.
• You're required to wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, even at screening checkpoints. Be ready to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA employee.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer. Instead, place your pass on the scanner and then hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now allowing passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will need to be removed from your bag at the X-ray machine for scanning.
• Place any personal items (e.g, keys, phone and coins) in your carry-on instead of a bin to reduce handling during screening.
• Separate any food you're carrying for screening. Placing it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to touch and inspect your belongings.
