Top Ballochbuie Forest Hotel Reviews
The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel
8/10 Good
"It was fine. Thanks. The only downside is the inconvenient time for using the pool. A late check-in makes it impossible to take advantage of this offer."
Atholl Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great time and the room was very nice. We requested two beds and it was one but they corrected it quickly. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. The grounds and the hotel are beautiful. Had a great time later on with the entertainment."
Coylumbridge Resort Hotel
8/10 Good
"Check-in was slow as usual. There's a fast-lane for those of us who had checked in online, but it was getting used as a general lane. The person checking us in needed to know who we'd booked with (why? It was all paid, and I'd already checked in online). Next he asked my name, but then said 'No, no, no.' I was sure I was right, but he was sure I was wrong. But then he found me on his computer screen and it turned out that I did know my name. Staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful, especially the dining area staff. Top marks. Queues at busy times (buffet style) but the food was fine, though not spectacular. For the cost of the meals, one could have a lovely table service meal in a restaurant but if all-you-can-eat appeals, it's not bad. There's plenty of car parking spaces, but lots of white vans parked - and long-wheel base vans take up at least two spaces, and sometimes more if they are wide. Dedicated parking spaces for vans would be useful. At night, it can be hard to find a nearby parking spot but the coach car park always has spaces. Overall, cheap and very good value for money and I do recommend this venue without hesitation."
The Boat Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Room 2 was exceptionally clean, fresh towels daily and tea/coffee facilities were topped up. Breakfast in the morning was delightful 😊. Definitely recommend a stay at the boat inn"
Balmoral Arms

"Staff were so lovely and helpful. Restaurant food was excellent."
Nethybridge Hotel
8/10 Good
"The stay was very enjoyable. Exceptional people, nice countryside-style facility and location, tasty food, relaxing pub/bar area."
Cambus o'May Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in the Kennels apartment and it was ideal, the most dog friendly accommodation we have come across. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were lovely. Definitely going to stay again."
Hilton Grand Vacations Club Craigendarroch Suites Royal Deeside
8/10 Good
"The hotel is beautiful and the amenities such as the pool, workout room, etc. are excellent. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the finer dining restaurant. The service was great at check in, check out and the restaurant. Our room was extremely spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and the sitting area very nice. The big negative is there is no air conditioning. I guess I should have assumed this since the building is so old but we have stayed at older places that have been renovated and there is air conditioning. The hallways and common places in the hotel are so comfortable and it feels as though there is air conditioning there but not in the rooms."
Kindrogan House
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic location if you like it peaceful. The slight wildness adds to.itscharm.Friendly hosts and comfortable room. I would recommend."
